The SW5512D is a top entry IML system custom made for the economic IML injection molding of the small size IML lids for the dairy containers suitable for IML projects by injection molding machine from 250T~450T with a mould up to 12 cavities. With a high speed double arms robotic arm as the core unit of the top entry IML system, one of the robotic arm will handle the lable picking and inserting while the other one pick the finished IML lids from the mold simultaneously, which will make the top entry IML system a counter productivity to a side entry IML system for lids while the cost of the system would be only around 60~70% of the IML system. It'll help the IML lids producer reduce the production cost dramatically.
Not only the overwhelm cost advantage against the side entry IML robot for lids production, but also the best choice for the IML containers producers with limited spaces, below advantages of a top entry IML system for your refrence:
The top entry IML system will have the robotic arm installed to the top of the injection molding machine with only the magazine system fixed to the floor, it'll occupy a much smaller space compared to the side entry IML robot which integrated the robotic arm with the magazine system.
Different from the side entry IML robot which can only be installed to the non-operator side of the injection molding machine but a top-entry IML system can be installed to have the parts dropped either to the operator side of the injection molding machine or the non-operator side of the injection molding machine, which will provide more flexibility for the plant onwers in planning their workshop layout.
A top entry IML system will have a single arm 3 axis servo injection robotic arm or a double arms 5 axis servo robotic arm as the core unit of the IML system to handle the labeling and parts picking. The operating of the IML system would be no more complex than the 3/5 axis servo robotic arm. It's much easier than a side entry IML robot with independent IML control system and is user friendly especially to the green hands.
