Introduction of SWITEK Top Entry Petri Dish Packing System
The SWITEK top entry petri dish packing system is a price smart solution for the production of plastic laboratory consumable petri dish from injection
molding to packing. The automation system has a high speed 3 axis servo robotic arm for the picking and stacking of the petri dish and an automation
system for the assembly of the petri dish, stacking of the assembled petri, sleeve packing of the stacked petri dishes, mark printing and vacuum the bag
for a safe storage of the petri dish. This automation system support the packing of petri dish with a mold design of 2+2, 4+4, 6+6 etc.
Functional Units of SWITEK Top Entry Petri Dish Packing System

(1) Petri dish transfer -- The picking robot will place the cover and bottom of the petri dish in the right place and
moved to the petri dish assembly unit.

(2) Sampling conveyor -- The picking robot will drop a shot of the perti dish on the conveyor when the sampling button pressed
for quality checking.

(3) Petri dish assembly -- The petri dish assembly unit will assemble the cover and botton of the petri dish and place
the assembled petri dish on the conveyor.

(4) Packing sleeve rack -- The rack for the fixing of the sleeve for petri dish packing.

(5) Package vacuum unit (Optional) -- Vacuum the sleeve after the stacked petri dish pushed into it. It's an optional function
and can be disabled for the packing solutions which request a vacuumed/non-vacuumed packing of the petri dishes.

(6) Petri Dish Stacking and Packing Unit -- To have the assembled petri dishes well stacked and pushed into the sleeve for packing.

(7) Sleeve sealing unit -- Seal the well packed petri dish (Vacuumed sleeve/non-vacuumed sleeve).

(8) Conveyor for packed petri dish dropping The robot will have the well sealed petri dish dropper to the conveyor for collecting.

Introduction of SWITEK Side Entry Petri Dish Packing System
The SWITEK side entry petri dish packing system is a custom made automation system for the stable production of laboratory consumable plastic
petri dish with the picking robot, the petri dish assembly, stacking, packing unit etc. integrated as auniformed system for the efficient and
stable production of the petri dish. The system can be custome made for a petri dish mold layout design of 2+2, 4+4, 6+6, 8+8 etc.
Functional Units of SWITEK Top Entry Petri Dish Packing System

(1) -- Side Entry Robotic Arm: The picking arm of the packing system in handling the picking of the petri dish from the
injection molding machine and place them on the assembly unit.

(2) -- Injection Mold: The core injection unit to shape the petri dish, it can be 2+2, 4+4, 6+6, 8+8 configuragion of the
petri covers and bottoms.

(3) -- Petri Dish Assembly Unit: Have the cover and bottom of the petri dish assembled and drop it on the conveyor.

(4) -- Sorting Conveyor: Lined the assembled petri dish sets for stacking before packing.

(5) -- Stacking Station: Have the well assembled petri dishes stacked up as requested (5/10/15/20/25 sets etc.).

(6) -- Petri Dish Packing Unit: Have the well stacked petri dish packed and sealed with optional function of vacuume the bag.

(7) -- Petri Dish Transfer Robot: Catch the well sealed petri dish bag and drop it to the conveyor.

(8) -- Petri Dish Dropping Conveyor: Deliver the well packed petri dish.
